We will have a camp bank where you can deposit money to be used at our concession stand through the week.

7:30 AM | Gym opens for shooting
8:00 AM | Roll Call / Notebook Teaching
8:15 AM | Starts / Stops/ Turns
8:35 AM | Fundamental Teaching Stations
10:00 AM | 1 on 1 / 3 on 3 / 5 on 5
12:00 PM | Contests / Camp Ends

*Afternoon session will follow same schedule starting at 1:00pm and ending at 5:00pm*

Mike Helfer, Valdosta State Head Coach

Mike Helfer has built the Valdosta State Men’s Basketball program into a powerhouse. He has led the Blazers for 20 years and has won almost 575 games in that span. He has led VSU to 9 NCAA tournament appearances, 7 GSC championshoips, and has won 4 GSC Coach of the Year awards. His recipe for success is seen throughout his Summer camps.

“I want every camper to have a GREAT Basketball experience at my camp. It is about learning and competing every day, but also loving the basketball experience. All levels of ability are welcome. I hope when you leave you will always remember the Helfer Camp!!”

Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by Valdosta State University are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, or number restrictions as specified by each camp.
